February Trail Work Day Report
Last Sunday’s Trail Work Day was a great success! We filled two pick-up trucks with volunteers and tools, then drove up the fire road all the way to the gate at Buzzard Lagoon, stopping along the way to clear downed trees that had been blocking the road. Not only does this allow the hikers & bikers to follow the road without having to climb over or duck under these obstacles, but emergency vehicles now have access to the upper regions of the park.
Everybody had a great time cutting, clearing and enjoying an unseasonably warm winter day WAY up in the forest.
