Why join the Advocates

By joining the Advocates, you will helping to maintain and preserve one of our communities most important resources. The Forest of Nisene Marks not only join provides recreational opportunities for hiking, biking, picnicing and enjoying our environment but it is an important watershed providing drinking water to our community.

Since 1994, the Advocates have worked with California State Parks to organize volunteer work days to maintain the hiking trails, install seasonal bridges, and build many enhancements to the park (see Advocates Accomplishments).
