Nov. Trail Work — Brushing Back the Oakridge Trail
For November’s Trail Work Day we brushed back the Oak Ridge Trail. The work was supervised by Patrick Courtright from State
Parks. The trail may look a little too wide but this area of the trail network is multi-use, so the trails are required to be wide enough for two horses to pass each other. We had a great group of workers and received much appreciation from the hikers that came by, but we didn’t see any horses!
If you have a chance, come join us sometime. It really feels good to help maintain the system of trails that we all enjoy so much.
