Special Comments:

Redwood sorrel is a member of the clover family and probably the most common groundcover in redwood forests. Redwood sorrel stems and leaves can be eaten. Pioneers used the stems in a pie. When the sun shines on them, the redwood sorrel closes its leaves.

Seen throughout Marcel's Forest, these plants can bloom as early as January.
