Trail Work Update
The Return of the Rains Our trailwork day on 2/16/14 was particularly beautiful. Mother Nature finally served up a big drink of water to a very thirsty and dehydrated Forest over the previous week. Creeks were babbling with a little more vigor. The dust was stuck to the fire road like glue. The ferns had a nice bath and the critters of the forest seemed a little more active and a lot chirpier. Mary Easton Outhouse Re-siding Speaking of chirpy, we had a happy crew of volunteers working on re-siding Mary Easton outhouse. This may sound like a ‘crappy’ job, but it’s surprisingly fun. We have one more to go at Porter Family next month. So, think about coming out and joining us. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at the fun you will have, and the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with helping to maintain our beautiful Park. We rely on your support And remember, we rely on you for donations and membership dues to fund projects in the Park. Everything takes money, and the more we raise the more we can do. So, thinking about contributing to your favorite non-profit. You will be able to see the benefits of you generosity on a monthly basis!
